A fingerprint recognition device, a touch panel, an input device, and a fingerprint recognition method. The fingerprint recognition device comprises: a fingerprint recognition module (100), a plurality of gate lines (101) and a plurality of signal lines (102); the gate lines (101) and the signal lines (102) are arranged to intersect with each other to define a plurality of induction areas (103), and a thin film transistor (104) and an induction electrode (105) connected with the thin film transistor (104) are provided in each induction area (103); the gates of the thin film transistors (104) are connected with the gate lines (101), the sources are connected with the signal lines (102), and the drains are connected with the induction electrodes (105); the signal line (102) comprises an emission signal line (1021) and a reception signal line (1022); the induction electrode (105) comprises an emission electrode (1051) connected with the emission signal line (1021) and a reception electrode (1052) connected with the reception signal line (1022); an electric field from the emission electrode (1051) to the reception electrode (1052) is generated between the adjacent emission electrode (1051 ) and reception electrode (1052); and the fingerprint recognition module (100) is connected with the reception signal line (1022). Finger lines are determined by detecting the intensity of the electric field. |
