PURPOSE:To make it needless to turnably mount a detection probe or to specially provide a voltage impressing means by providing the detection probe on one end part of an image carrier and electrically connecting the probe to a developing roller. CONSTITUTION:The detection probe 45 obtained by integrally forming a power supply part 70 with a detection part 71, whose surface is covered with Cr, etc., is fitted out of the image formed area of a photosensitive drum 21. And a light beam from a light emission diode is reflected by the detection part 71 and received in a photodiode. When a voltage value into which a light receiv ing quantity is converted becomes a specified value, toner is allowed to be replenished. In such a constitution, the probe 45 can be driven to be rotated with the rotation of the drum 21. And the power supply part 70 is connected to the developing roller 38 through a flat spring 63 and a doctor blade 42, etc., so that the voltage which is induced in the roller 38 can be supplied. |
