发明名称 CURRENT SUPPLY THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING MEDIUM
摘要 PURPOSE:To extend the pot life of a resistance coating solution in a current supply resistance layer and to enhance ink blocking resistance by adding a specific amount of carbon black having specific DBP absorbancy in the current supply resistance layer as a heating resistor. CONSTITUTION:Carbon black whose DBP absorbancy is 150-200ml/100g is contained in a current supply resistance layer as a heating resistor in an amount of 20-60% by wt. of the solid component constituting the current supply resistance layer. As the carbon black of this kind, furnace black is pref. When this carbon black is used, no viscosity rise or gellation of a resistance coating solution is generated even if the solid concn. of said solution is raised when the dispersibility of carbon black largely exerting effect on image quality is enhanced. The pot life of the coating solution becomes long (the coating solution is hard to flocculate). Further, the blocking due to the adhesion of ink, in such a case that a recording medium is rolled, is not generated.
