PURPOSE:To inhibit unnecessary ringing tone when called by an address corresponding to a service to receive text information periodically and to generate a ringing tone when called by a normal individual calling address to the same calling terminal by controlling whether the ringing tone is necessary or not on the side of a calling control station. CONSTITUTION:A calling control station 2 to which the call of a calling subscriber 1 is connected has a subscriber data memory 4 in which data of each calling terminal 5. The calling terminal 5 which a calling signal sent from the calling control station 2 reaches contains a receiving circuit 6, a ringing tone necessary- or-not bit deciding circuit 7, a receiving text displaying storage circuit 8 and a ringing tone generating circuit 9. Whether the ringing tone is necessary or not is controlled on the side of the calling control station. Thus, to the same calling terminal, ringing tone can be inhibited when called by the address corresponding to the service to receive the text information periodically, and the ringing tone can be generated when called by a normal individual calling address. |
