<p>The invention relates to a slotted sieve for a paper pulp scrubber or similar equipment, and to a method for fabricating such a sieve. The sieve is produced by weldless assembling of bars (6) with cross -members (7), the bars (6) carrying motches (8), the lips of which engage at least one V-shaped lateral groove (9) formed in each cross-member (1), while the cross-members (7) present, on their face receiving the bars (6), a second set of notches (10) for positioning the bars (6). The cross -section of the cross-members (7) at the level of notches (10) has the same configuration and dimensions as the cross-section of notches (8) and the cross-section of bars (6) at the level of notches (8) has the same configuration as the cross-section of notches (10) formed in the cross -members (7). Assembling is made by bending a bar (6) by an angle .alpha. (Fig. 4, 11) of about 20-25.degree. for widening a notch (8) and inserting a cross-member (7)therein. The bar (6) is then straightened back, so that the cross-member (7) will be firmly clamped in the notch (8).</p> |
