PURPOSE:To use a window fan and an air cleaner in combination by using a single set by a method providing a shutter which closes a suction port and a discharge port and opens the front and the rear of a blower during the use of a device as a window fan and opens the suction port and the discharge port and close the front and the rear of the blower during the use of it as an air cleaner. CONSTITUTION:When a device is used as a window fan, a shutter 11 opens an open part 3 on the outdoor side and a shutter 12 opens an opening part 4 on the indoor side and closes a suction port 5, and a shutter 13 closes a discharge port 6. With this state, all blowers 7-9 are run in the same direction, outdoor air is sucked through the opening part 3 on the outdoor side and is discharged through the opening part 4 on the indoor side. When it is used as an air cleaner, the shutter 11 closes the opening part 3 on the outdoor side, the shutter 12 opens the suction port 5 and closes the opening part 4 on the indoor side, and the shutter 13 opens the discharge port 6. With the blowers 7 and 9 run in the same direction and the blower 8 run in a reverse direction, indoor air is sucked through the suction port 5, dust is removed by a filter 10, and clean air is discharged in a room through the discharge port 6, in order, by means of the blowers from 9, 8, to 7. |
