PURPOSE:To improve the operation controlling feeling and to reduce the manipulation force by linking the rotary shaft of an electric motor to a shift member, connecting the electric motor to a control device electrically, and controlling the output and the rotation direction of the electric motor. CONSTITUTION:A remote control device 1 of the transmission furnishes an operation unit, a control unit, and a direction unit 3. The rotary shaft 5a of an electric motor 5 is connected to a shift member 4 which operates in reference with the shift operation of a change lever 2. By controlling the output and the rotation direction of the electric motor 5 with a control device, the response by the electric motor 5 in a shift operation of the change lever 2 is given to the change lever 2. In such a way, the operation controlling feeling is improved and the manipulation force can be reduced.
