The rotation of a massaging roller can drive a beating arrangement whose pounding can be transferred to the massaging roller. Alternatively the pounding is not produced in the appts. but the latter is itself set into oscillation and placed on the part of the body to be treated. A massaging surface can be rigidly or sprung coupled to a handle. The rear side of the massaging surface has a wt. piece set at a distance to the surface by a spring. The pounding arrangement can have a movable part set in motion by an e.m. field. The movable part can be a spring mounted plunger set into a one-dimensioned swing by the field of a coil. ADVANTAGE - Regular movement can be exercised for long time without becoming tired, even by untrained person.
