A margarine shaped hexahedron for pie is produced by cooling a margarine at 5 deg.C or less and solidifying it, putting into the hopper and extruding through nozzle having projecting section to obtain margarine formed with cutting lines (r,R), cutting, and packing to obtain the final product. The deepth of cutting lines is a half of thickness of the obtd. margarine. Pref. the obtd. margarine for the manufacture of pie has 0.5-3 Kg weight.
