PURPOSE:To obtain the color toner which is free from toner fogging on a photosensitive drum and transfer paper by using a coloring material having the max. value in the measured value of a change in triboelectrostatic charge quantity with lapse of time by a blow off method. CONSTITUTION:This color toner is formed by mixing a binder resin and a coloring material, melting and kneading the mixture under heating, then grinding and classifying the mixture. The coloring material is exemplified by pigments and dyes, such as insoluble azo pigment, azo lake, condensed azo pigment, chelate azo pigment, phthalocyanine pigment, anthraquinone, perylene, thioindigo, and quinacridone. Particularly the coloring material having the max. value in the measured value of the change in the triboelectrostatic charge quantity with lapse of time by the blow off method is used. The color toner which does not generate development fogging on the photosensitive drum, etc., is obtd. in this way. |
