HYDROGEL INTRAOCULAR LENS WITH PLASTIC MEMORY

The solution concerns the intraocular hydrogel lens with the plastic memory, which swells in the water or isotonic solution, such as in the physiological solution, and which is, before implantation, deformed in the shape suitable for operation, e.g. into the shape of a rod. It is at least partially made from cross-linked synthetic hydrogel containing acid and/or basic groups.
