<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the subject recording material exhibiting liquid state at a prescribed temperature, changing to solid at normal temperature, having excellent fixability and useful for printing, etc., by using a metallic soap as a main component and adding wax, solvent and visibilizing agent to the soap. CONSTITUTION:The objective recording material exhibiting liquid state at 45 deg.C and changing to solid state at normal temperature is produced by using a metallic soap (e.g. aluminum stearate soap) as a main component and adding at least a wax (e.g. carnauba wax), a solvent (e.g. water) and a visibilizing agent (e.g. dye) thereto. The recording material is suitable as an ink for ink-jet recording and gives a clear image.</p> |
