PURPOSE:To improve efficiency by a method wherein the title motor is constituted of piezo-electric elements, generating traveling waves, a moving mechanism, generating a relative speed or a relative displacement between two points, a synchronizing mechanism, moving two movable pieces synchronizingly, and a contact regulating mechanism, contacting said two movable pieces optimally for the movement of them. CONSTITUTION:When a voltage is impressed on a piezo-electric element 6 repeatedly, deformation is repeated. Therefore, a repeating voltage having the period of time T is impressed on the piezo-electric elements 6a-6e while deviating the phase of the same. When a time advances under a condition that a resonator 1 is deformed as shown by a resonator board 12 in a diagram, the shape of the resonator board becomes like as a resonator board 13 in the diagram after the time of T/4. When the impression of the repeating voltage is continued, a traveling wave 14 is generated on the board of the resonator 1. Then, the movable piece 11 is moved toward the direction of the traveling wave 14 like as the point of the movable piece 11, moved to a point G after the time of T/4 from a point F. |
