PURPOSE:To enable multi colours simultaneous recording to be performed by a method wherein an ink ribbon is prepared by making a microcapsule contain respectively independently each series dye and a colour erase agent. CONSTITUTION:A side surface of a film like ribbon substrate 2 is constituted by containing uniformly each microcapsule of, at least, two or more kinds to be selected from a microcapsule group composed by containing independently n kinds of dyes, for instance, a microcapsule 3 containing cyan series dye, a microcapsule 4 containing yellow series dye, and a microcapsule 5 containing magenta series dye, and each microcapsule of, at least, one or more kinds to be selected from a microcapsule 6 group composed by containing independently colour erase agents E-1 to E-5 for erasing colour of n kinds of dyes. By controlling thermal energy to be applied to a heating element of a thermal head 1, each series hue required for recording can be freely simultaneously obtained. |
