PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine for an internal combustion engine which allows a stator position to be specified in the circumferential direction.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 10 for an internal combustion engine comprises: a rotor 21 coupled to a rotation shaft of the internal combustion engine 12; and a stator 31 fixed to a body 13 of the internal combustion engine 12. The stator 31 is coupled and fixed to a boss 13a extending from the body 13. A radial coupling part 71 is provided on a stator core 32 by the fitting between an inner trunk 72a and a projection 73a of the boss 13a. The rotary electric machine 10 further has a circumferential coupling part 81. The circumferential coupling part 81 is arranged further inner side in the radial direction than a radial outer edge of the stator 31. The circumferential coupling part 81 couples the stator core 32 to the body 13 in the circumferential direction of the stator 31. The circumferential coupling part 81 specifies the stator core 32 position in the circumferential direction with respect to the body 13. The circumferential coupling part 81 is provided by the meshing between a cutout part and the projection or provided by a pin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
