<p>PURPOSE:To get a cargo handling system for LNG which does not need so much expense for facility, and manhour and expense for maintenance and administration by constituting a system in which LNG branched from a delivery line is vapourized through pressure reducing operation and is returned into a delivering ship tank. CONSTITUTION:Pressure of LNG in a branch line 6 branched from a delivery line 4 at a berth is reduced by means of a pressure reducing valve 7 and then the branched LNG is sent to a vaporizer 8. At this vaporizer 8, the branched LNG cools the LNG being delivered, which flows through the delivery line 4, by evaporative latent heat and then evaporates. The vaporized gas is sent to a gas-liquid separator 10 through a gas line 9 and is separated to gas and liquid. Then, the separated gas alone is sent into a ship tank 2 through a vacuum compressor 12 and a line 11. On the other hand, the separated liquid is returned to the delivery line 4 through a drain pump 13 and a line 14, and is sent to a receiving tank 3. By this constitution, it is possible to reduce expense for facility and personnel. In addition, facility for processing BOG in the side of the receiving tank 3 and the expense for it can be reduced.</p> |
