PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regeneration method of a DPF and an exhaust emission control system capable of restraining deterioration in fuel efficiency, by improving regeneration efficiency of the DPF.SOLUTION: In regeneration control of a DPF, a PM removing quantity is calculated in a preset time in filter temperature measured or estimated based on a database of a PM combustion reaction speed predetermined from an exhaust gas flow rate in the specific temperature, DPF inlet temperature and a PM deposit quantity and a database of PM removing quantity in the specific temperature, the calculated PM removing quantity is accumulated, an accumulated PM removing quantity of PM removed by combustion from a start of the regeneration control is calculated, and the regeneration control is finished after the accumulated PM removing quantity becomes the PM deposit quantity estimated when starting the regeneration control. |
