PURPOSE:To prevent damage of a solid-state laser medium and to improve oscillation efficiency by moving a condenser lens in accordance with output of excitation laser light and by adjusting incidence energy density to the solid- state laser medium. CONSTITUTION:Pulse laser light output from an excitation laser oscillator 20 excites a solid-state laser medium 26. Light is generated by the excitation, laser oscillation is generated between a highly reflecting mirror 27 and an output mirror 28, and laser light is output in accordance with transmittance from the output mirror 28. Since pulse laser light raises excitation density in the solid-state laser medium 26, it is condensed by a condenser lens 23. Here, a position of the condenser lens 23 is adjusted through a driving part 24 by a driving signal from a driving control part 25 which is sent based on output of pulse laser light which is constantly detected in a detection part 30. |
