The suspension construction is for rigid axled caravans. It comprises a leaf spring assembly, a spring U-clanp at the spring assembly centre and a crossbar attached to it. The assembly is bolted through the crossbar, the bolt head sitting at the underside of the assembly in a recess in the chassis. An additional leaf spring (9) is arranged between the bearing block (8) on the chassis and the shortest spring (6). It is marginally shorter than the longest spring (11) and has separating blocks (12) at its ends, whose height are at least the spring thickness. USE/ADVANTAGE - Improved strength of spring assembly for caravan suspension.
