Stacker plate for formed metal part in transfer press - has universal form element with vertical and horizontal contact faces, of height-adjustable support and stop elements

The stacker plate is for formed sheet metal parts, during no-load operation stage of a transfer press. It has several carrier elements, which are height-adjustable dependant upon the contact surface of the formed parts. A universal form element (1) is made from several support- and stop elements (5), which are height-adjustable within a housing. The universal element has vertical and horizontal contact faces. At least four form elements are located horizontally in two axis, which are at right angles to each other. The four form elements are adjustable within the no-load stage, by positioner drives (4). Data for all adjustment is electronically stored as tool specific data. USE/ADVANTAGE - Stacker plate for formed sheet metal parts remains in no-load stage during tool change and contains only few support elements.
