The inlet valve (7) and the last section of the induction port (3) are annular in construction and are positioned around the exhaust valve (8) and the first section of the exhaust port (4). The inlet valve (7) concentrically encircles the exhaust valve (8). The inlet valve (7) has two concentric conical form valve seats (9) and two valve spindles (10) circumferentially displaced in relation to each other by 180 deg. USE/ADVANTAGE - The space required for the valves in an IC engine is reduced.
