A track component for a track system upon which a carriage (2) carrying a camera can run includes an elongate core section (1) of high density polyethylene shaped to accommodate runs of a toothed belt, the edges of the core section being embraced by channel-section aluminium rails (3), along which wheels of the carriage (2) can run. The track components are suspended from a truss (4) by releasable clamps (5) and operation of camera movement is based on a computerised, remotely controlled system which can accurately shift the camera to specified locations along the track. <IMAGE> |
