PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to design, simply and without requiring a skill, a vibrator of a rock crystal or the like whose phase noise has been reduced and obtain a reference signal stable even at a high frequency.SOLUTION: Vibration mode charts including relation between primary vibration PV and spurious SP, a variation in a vibration frequency, vibration strength, and a vibration leak are obtained by performing simulation while changing the vibrator's shape or the like. Referring to these mode charts makes it possible to recognize a state in which the spurious SP crosses the primary vibration PV or a state of the vibration, which makes it possible to design, simply and without requiring a skill, a vibrator whose phase noise has been reduced. A condition for a shape or the like for achieving excellent manufacturing yields is also made to be obtained, which makes it possible to remarkably improve work efficiency. Additionally, referring to a characteristic of vibration leak makes it possible to easily find a vibration leak in a low temperature region without using a conventional characteristic measurement method using a low temperature tank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
