PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic winder which can prevent winding from being interrupted at the time of lot change, and quickly perform lot change.SOLUTION: An automatic winder comprises a first tray conveyance path 41, a plurality of yarn winding units, a plurality of second tray conveyance paths 42, and a regulation device 60. The first tray conveyance path 41 conveys a bobbin mounting tray 5a, and a tray without a bobbin 5b. The second tray conveyance paths 42 include paths branching from the first tray conveyance path 41 toward the plurality of yarn winding units. The regulation device 60 is provided at a spot where the second tray conveyance paths 42 branch from the first tray conveyance path 41, and conveys only the tray without a bobbin 5b to the second tray conveyance paths 42 in the yarn winding unit in which winding of a package of an old lot is complete or a progress state of winding of the package of the old lot is equal to or greater than a prescribed level in execution of a lot change.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
