PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt line molding which can suppress the generation of noise accompanied by the slide contact of a lip and a door windshield without raising the surface pressure of the lip to the door windshield at the descending of the door windshield.SOLUTION: A belt line molding 1A seals a clearance between a belt line 85 of a door 8 of a vehicle and a liftable door windshield 9, and comprises a lip 2, a main body part 3, a connecting part 4 and engagement mechanisms 5A. The lip 2 slide-contacts with a surface of the door windshield 9. The main body part 3 is fixed to the door 8. The connecting part 4 opposes a face at a side of the lip 2 which is opposite to the door windshield 9, and connects the lip 2 and the main body part 3. The engagement mechanisms 5A are formed at opposing faces 21, 41 of the lip 2 and the connecting part 4, and regulate the descending of the lip 2 by being engaged with each other without pressing the opposing faces 21, 41 at the descending of the door windshield 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
