摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processor and a method for determining a noise intensity that can increase the sensitivity by probability resonance without increasing the number of multiplexing of faint signals with noise added and without depending on the type of noise in an input signal.SOLUTION: A signal processor (1) includes: a noise generation part (11) designed to be capable of setting a noise intensity and output noise with a set noise intensity; a noise adding part (12) generating a noise addition signal by adding noise to an input signal including a faint signal to be measured; a threshold value processing circuit (13) processing a threshold value of the noise addition signal; an evaluation part (20) extracting a pulse signal component which satisfies a pulse waveform condition from an output signal from the threshold value processing circuit and evaluating the extracted pulse signal; and an intensity setting part (30) setting a noise intensity at which the evaluation result obtained by the evaluation part indicates a desired value, in the noise generation part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
