PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route of trust solution based on hardware supporting distribution and reproduction of premium digital content.SOLUTION: A service provider server provides content to a system via an arbitrary remote communication channel. In the system, a security processor executes protection processing. The security processor loads a firmware code from a protected flash memory area and executes the firmware code on a protected memory. Encryption key information is transmitted to a component which includes a CPU and an integrated graphics (GFX) engine via a chip-to-chip interconnection protected by the security processor. The GFX engine includes a decoder logic which decodes the decrypted audio/visual content and transfers it as a media block to a graphic processing unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
