PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of improving functionality.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes: a storage section 12 for storing user identification information for identifying host equipment 60 and an apparatus setting mode information for indicating a setting mode according to the host equipment 60 in association with each other; a communication section 16 which receives the user identification information stored in the host equipment 60 so as to identify the host equipment 60 from the host equipment 60 by a radio signal and recognizes the intensity of the radio signal; and a control section 10 which reads the apparatus setting mode information corresponding to the user identification information received from the host equipment 60 transmitting the radio signal from the storage section 12 when the intensity of the received radio signal is determined to be a neighbor threshold or more and performs setting on the basis of the apparatus setting mode information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
