PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device capable of suppressing an excessive current within a circuit.SOLUTION: In the power conversion device, power is supplied from a DC power source 20 to a capacitive load 30 by a current input type push-pull DC/DC converter 10 including a first switching element Q1 and a second switching element Q2. If an output voltage is equal to or lower than a first predetermined value, a first mode is provided in which control for turning on both the switching elements Q1 and Q2, control for turning one of the switching elements and control for turning off both the switching elements are repeated successively. If the output voltage is higher than the first predetermined value, a second mode is provided in which control for turning on both the switching elements Q1 and Q2 and control for turning on one of the switching elements are repeated alternately.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
