PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security related to the handling of a confidential file.SOLUTION: A file management system for managing the handling of a file stored in a computer on a network on the basis of a security policy includes: a detection part for detecting that any operation of the copy, movement and upload of the file has been operated; an approval request part for, when the operation is detected by the detection part, generating approval request information for making an approval request concerning the operation to a third person other than an operator who has performed the operation and a policy manager who manages the security policy, and for transmitting the approval request information to the computer of the third person on the network; a reception part for receiving the result of the approval request from the computer of the third person; and an operation control part for, when the result of the approval request is approval, permitting the operation, and for, when the result of the approval request is denial, inhibiting or interrupting the operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
