PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a control system which allows a control module to be added online without stopping a controller and is capable of preventing control failures.SOLUTION: A process controller 3 for managing a plurality of control modules 4 having process control functions has a schedule generation function to generate an input/output schedule of the control modules 4 on the basis of operation contents of respective control modules 4 and, in response to detecting that a new control module 4A has been connected, determines whether operations of the plurality of control modules 4 and 4A fall within a prescribed number of control cycles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
