PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress discharge of liquid in a state in which a carriage having a discharge section discharging the liquid and being movable in a reciprocation direction inclines.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device 1 comprises a carriage 6 having a discharge section 7 discharging liquid onto a medium and being movable in a reciprocation direction B. The carriage 6 has a plurality of sensors 5 measuring distances in a discharge direction C of the liquid. The liquid discharge device 1 has a plurality of reference axes 20 when moving the carriage 6 in the discharge direction C of the liquid. By constituting the liquid discharge device 1 as described above, discharge of the liquid in a state in which the carriage 6 having the discharge section 7 discharging the liquid and being movable in the reciprocation direction B inclines can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
