PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress unnecessary consumption of power by fixing means of an image forming apparatus by causing the fixing means to stand by at a standby temperature according to a voltage value of a power supply.SOLUTION: A fixing device 20 is heated with a power supplied from a power supply and fixes an image formed on a sheet 16 with heat. Temperature control means changes the temperature of the fixing device 20 between a fixing temperature during fixing of an image and a standby temperature in a standby state lower than the fixing temperature. Voltage value detection means detects a voltage value of the power supply, and temperature changing means changes the standby temperature of the fixing device 20 on the basis of the voltage value of the power supply.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
