PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of efficiently identifying a battery abnormality before bringing a vehicle in which abnormality occurs on a battery thereof, into a dealer.SOLUTION: There is provided a battery abnormality diagnostic device for diagnosing abnormality of a battery provided on a charger for executing discharge and charge to the battery formed of plural battery cells which an electric vehicle comprises. The battery abnormality diagnostic device is configured to: acquire information related to an abnormality tendency of the battery detected based on a change tendency of voltage and voltage of each battery cell of the plural battery cells, being detected before start of diagnosis by the battery abnormality diagnostic device; and to select a charge/discharge pattern for abnormality diagnosis executed to the battery by the charger, from plural charge/discharge patterns according to the acquired information related to the abnormality tendency. Then, the charger is caused to execute charge/discharge according to the selected charge/discharge pattern and abnormality of the battery is identified based on voltage of each battery cell.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
