PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a red light-emitting fluorescent material having superior durability.SOLUTION: A fluoride fluorescent material contains particles having a composition represented by formula (I) defined by A[MMnF] (where A denotes at least one cation selected from the group consisting of K, Li, Na, Rb, Csand NH; M denotes at least one element selected from the group consisting of the Group 4 elements and the Group 14 elements; and a satisfies 0.01<a<0.10). The fluoride fluorescent material has an IR peak area ratio Z, given by formula (P) defined by Z=(peak area in 3500-3800 cm)/(peak area in 1050-1350 cm), of less than 2.5×10in an infrared absorption spectrum.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
