PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling control device of a vehicle which can suppress that the other vehicle which is improper as a tracking object in a lateral direction of an own vehicle is selected.SOLUTION: A traveling control device of a vehicle comprises: creation means which creates traveling loci of other vehicles from a history of positions of the other vehicles which exist in front of an own vehicle MA; first control means which sets the other vehicle traveling in a traveling lane of the own vehicle out of the other vehicles as a tracking object, and makes a lateral position of the own vehicle MA follow a lateral position being a position of the tracking object in a width direction with respect to a front face of the own vehicle MA; determination means which determines whether or not the other vehicle which is different from the tracking object MB1 interrupts between the own vehicle MA and the tracking vehicle MB1 in the traveling lane of the own vehicle MA; and first selection means which selects either of the current tracking object MB1 and the interruption vehicle MB2 as the tracking object on the basis of the positions of the traveling loci which are created by the creation means on the current tracking object and the interruption vehicle when it is determined that there is interruption.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
