PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide distance measuring equipment capable of effectively suppressing waveform distortion of transmission pulse signal due to temperature characteristics of an amplifier even when an amplifier of relatively low cost is used.SOLUTION: The distance measuring equipment is constituted of an amplifier and a transmitting/receiving unit. The amplifier includes an amplifier that amplifies an original pulse signal to output a transmission pulse signal for distance measurement. The transmitting/receiving unit generates the original pulse signal using a piece of information for pulse generation which includes a waveform distortion compensation element of the transmission pulse signal according to temperature characteristics of the amplifier based on a piece of temperature information representing a temperature value of the amplifier.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
