PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed driver which facilitates adjustment of a DC level, has simple circuit configuration and allows for suppression of power consumption thereof .SOLUTION: An LD (Laser Diode) driver 10 with a pre-emphasis function comprises: transistors M1 and M2 that constitute a transistor couple of a differential amplifier circuit; first and second high-pass filters 15 and 16 that are comprised of first and second capacitors C1 and C2 and resistors R3 and R4, respectively and that generate a differentiation waveform based on first and second input signals input to first and second input terminals Vin1 and Vin2, respectively; a transistor M11 of which the drain is connected to a drain of the transistor M1, which is disposed in parallel with the transistor M1 and of which the gate is connected to the first input terminal Vin1 via the first high-pass filter 15; and a transistor M12 of which the drain is connected to a drain of the transistor M2, which is disposed in parallel with the transistor M2 and of which the gate is connected to a second input terminal Vin2 via the second high-pass filter 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
