PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an optimum information presentation that is easily used by a user.SOLUTION: A media data retrieval part 24 retrieves a plurality of pieces of media data information from a plurality of pieces of media data information including at least one feature about media data on the basis of similarity to a query inputted by the user. A retrieval result presentation part 25 presents, as retrieval results, outline information of media data information, the similarity to the query, and the contribution degree of each feature word to the similarity about each of the plurality of pieces of retrieved media data information to the user, giving priority to media data information having a high similarity to the query. When the user inputs a visualization request for the retrieval results, a visualization result presentation part 26 presents to the user a graph composed of nodes respectively showing the plurality of pieces of retrieved media data information, and edges for combining media data information having a similarity as the retrieval results.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
