PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to perform printing within an appropriate reading range according to the size of a document, even when a sheet and a document in a size that cannot be accurately recognized by an ADF document size sensor are set.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises: determination means that determines whether the size of sheet set to a paper feed stage designated as an output destination is a size that cannot be detected by a size sensor of an automatic document feeder; and deciding means that, when the determination means determines that the size of sheet is the size that cannot be detected by the size sensor of the automatic document feeder, recognizes that a document in a size corresponding to the size of sheet set to the paper feed stage is set to the automatic document feeder and decides a reading range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
