PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner capable of being downsized, while inhibiting flare light from being mixed into light for writing.SOLUTION: A scanning optical system A includes: a scanning lens 2105; a polarization separation element 2110; two specially tilted decentered lenses (2107a, 2107b); and five turning mirrors (2106a, 2106b, 2108a, 2108b, 2109a). A scanning optical system B includes: a scanning lens 2105; a polarization separation element 2110; two tilted decentered lenses (2107c, 2107d); and five turning mirrors (2106c, 2106d, 2108c, 2108d, 2109d). Each of the tilted decentered lenses changes an optical path of a light beam by prism effect and corrects wave front aberration and bending of a scanline. |
