PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, conventionally, it was necessary to transmit and receive special packets to calculate an amount of delay fluctuation.SOLUTION: A time synchronization method transmits and receives time synchronization packets including time information between a master device including reference time and a slave device, and synchronizes time of the slave device with time of the master device. In the time synchronization method, the master device transmits time synchronization packets at the time interval output by a first clocking unit, and the slave device includes a second clocking unit which outputs the time interval having the same cycle as the first clocking unit, calculates a first time difference between reception time of time synchronization packets transmitted by the master device and the time output by the second clocking unit as an amount of delay fluctuation, and corrects reception time of time synchronization packets received from the master device on the basis of the amount of delay fluctuation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
