PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document display device adaptable to a natural reading speed of a user, which enables the user to concentrate only on a reading part.SOLUTION: There are provided: an image display part 16 having a display screen; a position detection part 17 that detects a position indicated by the user on the display screen; and a display control part 18 that performs control for displaying a document on the display screen. The display control part 18 performs control in such a manner that: the document is displayed with a first density on the display screen, and when the position detection part 17 detects the indicated position, a density of components of the document present in a display position that corresponds to the indicated position is gradually emphasized to a second density, which is a density higher than the first density, and then gradually restored to the first density after a lapse of a predetermined time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
