PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell anode capable of improving strength while suppressing the occurrence of a crack, and a fuel cell single cell including the fuel cell anode.SOLUTION: A fuel cell anode 10 is used for a fuel cell single cell 5 using an anode 1 as a support. The fuel cell anode 10 includes an active layer 11 disposed on a solid electrolyte layer 2 side, and a diffusion layer 12 laminated on a surface of a side opposite to the solid electrolyte layer 2 side in the active layer 11. The active layer 11 comprises a mixture including a catalyst 111 in the active layer and a solid electrolyte 112 in the active layer, the solid electrolyte having a crystal phase of cubic crystals. The diffusion layer 12 comprises a mixture including a catalyst 121 in the diffusion layer and a core-shell structure 122 having a core part 122a and a shell part 122b covering the outer periphery of the core part 122a. The core part 122a comprises an inner solid electrolyte having a crystal phase mainly composed of cubic crystals, and the shell part 122b comprises an outer solid electrolyte having a crystal phase mainly composed of tetragonal crystals. |
