PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for updating position code data.SOLUTION: A method and a system for updating position code data are disclosed. The system comprises a position code change system for receiving map change data and position code change data. The position code change system processes the map change data, finds an affected position code, and operates the position code data, or performs geo-coding operation, for updating information of the position code. The updated position code data is stored in a position code system. The position code change system receives the position code change data from the position code system, then provides information related to position code change to the map change system, thereby update of the map based on change of the position code is facilitated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
