PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building enabling adequate ventilation of an underfloor space.SOLUTION: An underfloor space is formed below a floor part of a first floor 14 of a building. Floor ventilation parts 75, 76, which communicates a living space and the underfloor space of the first floor 14, are formed on the floor part. The first floor ventilation part 75 is disposed in a Japanese-style room 41 and a living room 42. The second floor ventilation part 76 is disposed in a washroom 46. A first outdoor ventilation part 61 disposed in the Japanese-style room 41 and the living room 42 and a second outdoor ventilation part 62 disposed in the washroom 46 are formed on an exterior wall 31. An exhaust fan 63 is disposed on the second outdoor ventilation part 62. When the exhaust fan 63 is operated, air flows into the underfloor space from the Japanese-style room 41 and the living room 42 through the first floor ventilation part 75, while the air flowing out to the washroom 46 through the second floor ventilation part 76 from the underfloor space is discharged by the exhaust fan 63 to the outdoor.
