An improved wooden beam is distinguished by the following features: – the wooden beam (1) comprises a plate-shaped carrying web (3) extending in the longitudinal direction (L) of the wooden beam (1) – cutouts (9) offset in the longitudinal direction (L) from one another are incorporated in the carrying web (3) and each extend, in a part height (TH), from the open longitudinal side (5b) of the carrying web (3) that is formed by said cutouts in the direction of the opposite closed longitudinal side (5a), – the cutouts (9) extend only over a part height (TH) of the carrying web (3) and terminate at a distance (A) before the closed longitudinal side (5a) of the carrying web (3), and – an upper flange (21) or a lower flange (31) is formed or fastened on the open longitudinal side (5b) of the carrying web (3) that is opposite to the closed longitudinal side (5a). |
