Disclosed is the use of an antibody in the preparation of a medicament for treating an autoimmune disorder or inflammatory disorder in a human subject, wherein the antibody binds specifically to IL-15/IL-15Ra complexes and reduces the binding of the IL-15/IL-15Ra complexes to the beta-gamma receptor complex as determined in cell culture or in vitro.
