An auxiliary unlocking method, comprising: instructing, after it is detected that a user sets an application for auxiliarily unlocking a terminal screen, the user to log in the application, and binding, after the user successfully logs in the application, login information about the user with the application; and instructing, after it is detected that the number of times of failure in unlocking the terminal screen by the user exceeds a threshold or an auxiliary unlocking function for the terminal screen is started, the application, set before user login, for auxiliarily unlocking the terminal screen to unlock the terminal screen when the user successfully logs in the application and login information is consistent with the login information bound with the application. The method can provide an auxiliary unlocking way in the case of failure in unlocking a terminal screen by a user, thus enabling the terminal screen to be unlocked. |
