The invention relates to a device and to a method for holding and/or braking a door (10, 11, 12), in particular an electrically driven door, with respect to a defined position (P), having a fixed first magnet (M1) and a second magnet (M2) which is movable with respect to the fixed first magnet (M1). The present invention is based on the object of providing a simple device and a method, with the aid of which a door (10, 11, 12) can be braked and held without great circuit complexity and expenditure of energy. The invention is based on the finding that the device according to the invention provides a simple and favourable option, which manages without additional energy, for holding a door (10, 11, 12) in an end position, for example, i.e. in the open or closed state. It is particularly advantageous here that the device operates without wear and completely independently of an energy supply. |
